Anna Zgambo poet from Lusaka
Anna Zgambo is pursuing a PhD in Literature at the University of Zambia with a focus on lyric poetry. She holds a bachelor's degree in English studies from the University of Pretoria and a Master of Arts in Literature from the University of Zambia. She studied creative writing at Open Window University in Kabulonga.
Anna is a Hope Prize Protégé, Idembeka Creative Writing Fellow, Zed Rasta Awards Winner, and Ngoma Awards Finalist. Zambia Educational Publishing House published her first poetry collection, Read Prose Poetry. Her latest poetry collection, Peruse Every Poem, won a Canon contract organized by the United Nations SDG Book Club.
She was born at Lusaka's Kalingalinga Clinic in November 1989 and now lives in Mtendere.
