Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist in maintaining the organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and a passion for technology.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network problems
Provide technical support to end-users in person, remotely, or over the phone
Set up new users’ accounts, permissions, and profiles
Perform regular maintenance and updates of systems and applications
Maintain inventory of IT equipment and software licenses
Assist with IT projects and rollouts (e.g., new hardware, system upgrades)
Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT support or vendors
Qualifications:
Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
Proven experience as an IT Technician or similar role
Strong knowledge of Windows/Mac OS, Microsoft Office, and networking basics
Familiarity with troubleshooting hardware (PCs, printers, routers, etc.)
Knowledge of Active Directory, Office 365, and remote desktop tools is a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Preferred Skills:
Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft MTA/MCSA
Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow)
Working Conditions:
Full-time role; may require occasional evening or weekend work
On-site or hybrid support depending on the organization
