Job responsibilities
- To fulfil with diligence and fidelity the responsibilities or missions in conformity with his responsibilities, according to the specific tasks detailed below;
- To bring all care and aptitude to the good utilization of all resources, documents, materials and equipment given to him to carry out his duties;
- To keep full confidentiality of all information related to his work during and after the period of this agreement.
- To assist the centre in forward planning of the production
- Participate in decision making discussions for the management of the centre
- To participate in budgeting and maintaining production financial records
- To assist the centre in organising sales and purchases of inputs and farm equipments
- To ensure handling paperwork and keeping production records
- To participate in recruiting, training/instructing and supervising farm workers and managers
- To make sure that production plans are implemented satisfactorily
- To support the centre to ensure compliance with regulations and health and safety standards
- To support the centre in resource mobilization and administrative requirement from different Partners/stakeholders
- Identify, advise and ensure knowledge and skills transfer to farmers, extension agents and other stakeholders on modern production technologies and practices in horticulture;
Qualifications
Master's Degree in Horticulture
2 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in Horticulture
5 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in Agronomy
5 Years of relevant experience
Master's Degree in Agronomy
2 Years of relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in Crop Science
5 Years of relevant experience
