A group of Cameroonian football stakeholders, represented by international lawyer Emmanuel Nsahlai, has filed legal actions against FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto'o, alleging corruption, financial irregularities, and electoral manipulation!
The complaints have been filed with the Ministry of Sports, FIFA Ethics Committee, and CAF. The allegations include tax fraud, conflict of interest, and embezzlement. The stakeholders aim to ensure transparency and good governance in Cameroonian football, which is crucial ahead of the 2026 World Cup.
Addressing the Ministry of Sports and Physical Education of Cameroon (MINSEP), they request the application of national law and review of FECAFOOT's statutes.
Addressing the FIFA Ethics Committee in Zurich, they seek the opening of procedures, including a potential temporary suspension of Samuel Eto'o for alleged conflicts of interest, financial irregularities, and electoral manipulation.
Addressing the Confederation of African Football (CAF) , they request the transmission of all files to FIFA and a temporary suspension of Samuel Eto'o as a member of the CAF Executive Committee.
