Did you know that we opened a new Lasallian school in Rwanda? 🇷🇼
This time, we want to share with you 4 things to know about the Lasallian work in Rwanda:
1️⃣ It is one of the newest schools
De La Salle-Kigali School opened its doors in 2022, making it one of the youngest Lasallian schools.
2️⃣ New structures are underway
The school already has a kindergarten and primary section up and running… but there’s more to come! New developments are in progress to increase access to education for children.
3️⃣ La Salle’s impact in Rwanda
Beyond Kigali, the capital, we’re present across the country with primary and secondary schools in Kirenge, Byumba, Nyundo, and more…
4️⃣ Not just schools
We also support a teacher training college in Byumba and a non-formal socio-educational center in Butare, which supports street children.
All of our schools are a response to the country’s educational needs and aim to provide quality education.
