Director General
Job responsibilities
Ensure a systematic reception and production of the technical information by different divisions and the general directorate;
Analyze the technical information including documents, files and reports produced by different divisions and general directorate and evaluate their coherence in line with national policies and institutional mandate;
Advise the Director General on technical matters and help to take adequate decisions;
Propose a useful review of policies, programs and projects of the institution;
Coordinate the staff in the office of Director General.
Ensure that the updated documentation reaches the Director General on the activities of the institution on time;
Ensure that the assignments from Director General reaches the appropriate destinations on time;
Follow up on the feedback to the assignments given by the Director General;
Keep the Director General aware of the sensitive documents and assignments and ensure their timely feedback;
Act as secretary of the meetings held in the office of the Director General as well as the senior management meetings;
Consolidate all potential and technical recommendations to the Director General for the purpose of decision making;
Conduct necessary investigations and researches with resource persons or institutions to complete the technical information or to improve its quality;
Participate in the handover sessions between the out-going and in-coming senior officials at managerial level in order to inform them on the historic and the present situation of the institutional files, policies, programs and projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration
3 Years of relevant experience
