District Council Affairs Specialist
Job responsibilities
- Prepare audit plans to be approved by the District Council;
- Conduct audit of the District and its affiliated non-budgeted agencies as per the law and advise accordingly;
- Produce regular audit reports intended for the District’s council;
- Follow-up on the implementation status of the District Council resolutions pertaining to internal audit and Auditor General’s recommendations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting

Public Finance

Bachelor's in Management with specialization in Finance/Accounting
0 Year of relevant experience
Required competencies and key technical skills
Time management skills
Verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices and financial data reporting
Judgment & Decision making skills
Knowledge of Rwanda Public Financial Law
Planning and organizational, Budgeting skills
Strong IT skills, particularly in Financial software (SMART IFMIS)
Interviewing Skills
Complex Problem solving
Leadership and management skills
Fluent in Kinyarwanda, English and/ or French; knowledge of all is an advantage
Knowledge of Rwanda's financial management standards and procedures; Knowledge of Accounting principles and practices and financial data reporting
